Food Staples from Locals you Can get Delivered in Austin

Right now we can definitely support local businesses by eating out and doing drive-up options. We can also order some local favorites online so that we can get our chips, our chocolate and even our produce from local businesses.

Farmhouse Deliverysources locally and is a great way to support farmers as well as tastemakers. You get your produce, local eggs and milk, Barrel Creek pickles, Lick Ice Cream (including their ice cream sandwiches), GFY kitchen gluten-free breads and Easy Tiger’s epic breads as well. They have many of your local Austin favorites.

Chocolate

I view chocolate as a staple in life and SRSLY chocolate is a community-oriented chocolate shop that could really use the community support. You can order them online and have them delivered! Read our interview with them here.

For your pets Tomlinson’s is offering same and next day delivery. They opened in 1946 and even offer 24 cans of free pet food for adopted Austin pets (I know because I’ve used this service and they said it’s so people can start their pets off with healthy food).

The Seaweed Bath Co. is one of my personal favorites here because they use seaweed in their products and I’ve heard the owner speak and they just seem incredible. Their products are on Amazon or available through their website (free shipping on $25 and up) and on Thrive Market.

Coffee

There are a few here. Third Coast Coffee you can order through Amazon as well as Greater Good, Chamelon Cold Brew and Cuvee. You can also order from all of them online.

Other Austin businesses  you can support through Amazon are

  • Farmhouse Culture- their chips are now online as well as their gut shots.
  • Epic Meat Bars– amazing sustainably sourced meat bars. They also have pork rinds.
